How to Use It

After applying your polish with an applicator brush and working it into the leather, buff briskly with your horsehair polishing brush to raise the initial shine. Then wrap the duster tightly around two fingers and use short, rapid circular strokes across the toe cap and quarters. The combination of light pressure and the soft nap of the cloth draws the wax to the surface, producing a mirror finish that a brush alone cannot achieve.

The duster also serves as a useful applicator when working beeswax polish into the welt and heel by hand, where the control of a cloth outperforms a brush. For cream polishes, it doubles as a light application tool before buffing.
