Initially went for a size down, based on bad experience with another brand damaging the heel cup because they were too bulky in the heel. These are perfect though, the heel is slender and won’t distort your boots, I then reordered them in the nominal size which is exactly right, I have a pair for each pair of boots I own now.They give the right amount of resistance to keep your boots in shape and are easy to insert and remove.

New shoes mean new shoe trees, at least if you don't want them to turn into Ali Baba's slippers, and these cedar wood numbers are ideal. Beautifully designed and made. Cedar is naturally fragrant and moisture-absorbing, which means that your footwear remains in good shape and pleasant to be around. The micro-adjustments ensure that these trees fit your shoes, perfectly.
Just bear in mind: never put a shoe tree into a cold shoe.
The hinged portion makes it easy to insert into my Loake Chelsea boots. As mentioned elsewhere it is designed to reshape the forefoot and doesn’t fill in or stretch out the vertical part of the boot which will still look a bit creased up.
ShoeTrees arrived well packaged and fitted my UK size 8 chucka boots well.
Look good, fit well. Noted that they are not 'shoe stretchers' but I do suffer after a few hours wearing my Barker Chelsea Boots on the left foot. Hopefully, just leaving these in place -as opposed to nothing previously will help!

Just to clarify, these boot trees are not designed to stretch shoes, but rather to maintain their shape and prevent creasing. If you're experiencing discomfort with your Barker Chelsea Boots, we recommend trying dedicated boot stretchers, unfortunately we only supply shoe stretchers which won't go into boots.
I've a number of pairs of cedar shoe trees and for shoes, such as Loakes etc, well worth the investment. These are a great fit, with good adjustment. Not had them long but I've no reason to think they won't do their job perfectly.
