This bark colourway is a warmer, lighter mid-brown than our dark brown Aberdeen, and takes on a slightly matt, worn-in character from the first wear.

Underfoot, a spongey EVA mid-sole keeps the boot lightweight and absorbs impact over longer distances, while a rubber outsole provides grip and stability across mixed terrain, from pavement to farm track. Rustproof eyelets carry the laces so they won't corrode or mark the nubuck over years of wet-weather wear, and the padded ankle collar stops the top of the boot digging in on the descent.

Fit and Sizing

Orca Bay footwear generally comes up true to size, though a new pair can feel snug rather than tight when you first put them on; the leather softens and settles to your foot within the first few wears. The Aberdeen is made in full sizes only from 41 to 46 (UK 7 to 12), with no half sizes available, so we'd suggest sizing up if you normally fall between two sizes.

Unlike full-grain leather, nubuck is sanded to create a fine nap, making it more susceptible to dirt, stains, and moisture. Follow this step-by-step guide to keep your nubuck shoes in excellent condition.

1. Brush Off Surface Dirt & Dust

• Start with the rubber side: Gently rub the surface in a circular motion to lift dirt and dust.
• Use the bristle side for deeper cleaning: Lightly brush in the same direction as the nap to remove stubborn grime and restore texture.

2. Removing Stains from Nubuck
