I've only used the brushes once - but they are better than the rather harsh bristled brush I've been using recently. They feel well made - and old fashioned in a good way. I don't think many people clean shoes anymore - but the few of us left, these are the brushes to use

I added three of these brushes to a recent order. The horse hair brushes are true to the claims made for them - they give a really good shine really quickly. I finish with a soft cloth and this combination gives a lovely finish.

Not used much yet but the brushes appear to be good quality. the hair is quite densely packed and should leave a good shine. Overall excellent value for money.

The brushes are excellent and the engraving feature was useful, I was able to add - initials with 'polish on', 'polishing' & 'dubbin' - to identify the purpose for each brush . . . sadly there are teenagers who need this when parents are far away!

I bought these to cut in half and use for Japanese wood cut ink spreading.
They do a lovely job.
As for cleaning shoes... no idea... I wear sandals
