Orca Bay have taken great care to select premium waterproof leathers, which not only look sumptuous but also perform outstandingly. The linings are super-soft and comfortable. Durable rugged rubber soles are made to last. The Aquastop™ membrane allows feet to breathe while keeping them warm, dry and comfortable.

Sizes
We recommend using our foot measure to accurately measure your feet. Note:
The internal shoe size is between 5mm and 10mm longer than your foot length in mm
NOTE: EU sizes do NOT correspond directly to UK sizes
Additionally different manufacturers use different sizing scales, different lasts (height and width) and different toe gaps.
Bear in mind new shoes can be stiff at first and pull off at the heel leading to people thinking they are too big, If they do pull off at the heel - give them a good bending and try them on again.
But also bear in mind Orca Bay shoes do loosen up after being worn in.
 
The scale below is indicative as many variables come into play.

I was really pleased to find these Bodmin ladies boots, just what I have been looking for in a boot for expeditions - traditionally made in leather that is naturally waterproof, hand finished, actually lightweight, and not too wide a style. I am wearing them now to break them in for my expedition in the mountains of Tibet this Autumn, and so far, so comfortable with enough room for ticker hiking socks. Looking forward to wearing them in the field.

Very well made, good quality boots. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Lovely colour. Unfortunately did not fit, too big, especially the cuff around the ankle, which didn't sit smugly and rubbed in spite of the well cushioned cuffs.

I was advised to buy a size up ( to include heavy weather socks). I did so, but I think I could have got away with my true size. But I love these boots, very comfortable, and looking forward to taking them with me on my first Sydney to Hobart this year.
