Collonil’s 1909 Leather Cream is a go-to conditioner for smooth leather when you want quick nourishment without fuss. It’s designed for high-quality leather goods that get regular wear — shoes, boots, bags and jackets — and it’s especially useful when leather starts to look dry, dull or slightly tired.

The formula combines aloe vera with nourishing oils to help soften and renovate worn leather while improving colour depth. Used regularly, it helps leather stay supple, reduces that “dry” feel, and leaves a clean, well-kept finish rather than a greasy shine.

The 75ml tube has a built-in sponge applicator, which makes it easy to apply sparingly and evenly — ideal for travel, office drawers, or quick maintenance at home. After it’s absorbed, a brisk buff with a cloth or brush brings up a neat sheen and a smoother feel to the touch.

Good to know: this is a neutral (colourless) cream, so it’s a practical choice when you’ve got multiple leather colours in rotation. As with any conditioner, test first on a hidden area, especially on very light leathers or absorbent finishes, as the leather can temporarily darken while the cream soaks in.

1. Remove surface dust and dirt.
2. Apply a small amount thinly and evenly (less is better).
3. Leave a few minutes to absorb.
4. Buff with a soft cloth or horsehair brush.

Not suitable for Suede, nubuck or roughout (use a suede-specific product instead)
