Great tools for slightly stretching my pair of leather shoes. I’ve only been using them for a few days and already I can tell the difference. The shoe stretchers are well made and easy to manage. They were well packaged and arrive quickly. Love that they are made of wood because they won’t crack or break like plastic ones. Definitely a good buy.

The shoe stretcher really did the job. It is also well made and adjustable so that you can loosen any specific areas of the shoe - in this case GH Bass loafers - pinch. Thank you.

It's well made easy to use and does the job well.

I was avoiding wearing some of my shoes as after wearing them for a while the pain in my feet was unbearable (I have developed a bunion in recent years). I purchased this item in the hope it would help. I was not disappointed. I am now able to wear my favourite trainers again and I am working my way through my shoe collection. The only thing that would improve the stretcher would be to fix a knob of some description onto the end of the handle to make it easier to turn when it is inserted in the shoe. A small thing but it would make a big difference with grip.

The shoe stretcher was dispatched promptly and I can now wear the trainers that previously rubbed my bunion. I like the fact that is wooden and not plastic.

I wasn't sure if the stretcher would work but it definitely made a pair of shoes, that I bought a few years ago and now felt a bit tight, a lot more comfortable and enabled me to wear them to a wedding.
It was easy to use and just gradually stretched the shoes slightly.

as to the service, there was a crack in the wood on the original stretcher I was sent, entirely natural and just a flaw in the grain but it stopped the former from sliding easily into the shoe, one email to the support team at cathcart and a replacement was sent out the same day - thank you

I am thrilled with the *Latest model* Ladies cedar wood shoe stretcher I purchased from Cathcart Elliot.
I had one small query which was quickly and effectively dealt with by a phone call.
The shoe tree has worked its magic and will, I am sure, come in useful again.

These are well made products from excellent quality materials. We found the heel component tricky to insert in a narrow court shoe heel but placing it in the shoe upside down helped. For the future it would be useful if this narrower part of the heel component could be a little longer.

Good. With time and patience it appears to work well. Instructions for use need improvement. The long, threaded rod that has to be turned to fit the stretcher correctly inside the shoe is nothing like a 'wheel', as the instructions describe it!
