monogrammed-wine-bottle-coaster
Monogrammed Wine Bottle Coaster, Engraved Beech Wood Gift

One initial, engraved in beech

Some gifts say more with less. This turned beech wine bottle coaster carries a single initial at its centre, set inside an engraved floral circle and cut in a monogram typeface chosen for its shape and weight. No names to spell, no dates to check. Just one letter that belongs to the person receiving it.

How it is made

Each coaster is turned from beech, a pale, close-grained wood that takes engraving cleanly and shows it in a warm, dark brown. A raised 12mm rim keeps the bottle in place. The underside is covered in thin black faux felt, so it will not scratch the table it is protecting. It catches drips and the condensation from a chilled bottle before they mark a polished surface.

Size and fit

The coaster measures 135mm across and 30mm high, with a well 110mm wide inside the rim. A standard 75cl wine bottle is about 75mm across, a standard magnum about 105mm and a standard Champagne bottle about 90mm-100mm, so each sits comfortably. It is a substantial piece, noticeably larger than a drinks mat, so do check the measurements if you are buying to fit a particular spot.

Personalising yours

Press Customise it, enter the initial and see your coaster before you order.

One letter, engraved inside a floral circle and centred on the coaster.

The same monogram typeface and floral circle on every coaster, so a pair or a set always matches.

A surname initial suits a family table.
